Sequence Increment Character -- Many controllers allow the use of a special sequence number address to locate restart blocks within a given machine control data file. The postprocessor command SEQNO/NEXT signals the postprocessor that the next output record should contain a sequence number with the address specified here. Following blocks will revert to the previous sequence number address. The Alias for the Alignment Block is the string that will be output for every occurrence of the Alignment Block character (8 ASCII characters max). (Intcom 1846)
