GETTING DATA

GENERAL

It is possible to get three different types of data. This includes the following:

  1. Variable Values - user variables and Commons variables

  2. Stack Data

  3. CL Record Data

Figure 3 shows the Get Values dialog.

PROCESS

To get the value of a user variable or one of the Commons variables, do the following:

  1. Specify the desired tab (Variables, Intcoms, Dblcoms, Relcoms)

  2. enter the desired variable keyword or number in the appropriate field on the upper left of the tab

  3. enter the desired subscript (default is 0) if necessary

  4. click the Get Value button

  5. if a value exists for the variable, it will be displayed in the lower portion of the dialog (the value could be for a scalar, text, point, vector, or matrix variable)

  6. When finished, click the Close button

To get Stack data or CL Record data, click the Get Stack or Get CL Rec buttons respectively. This will bring up a separate dialog showing the current stack or CL record data.
