Configure GPost ()
The Option File Generator is a separate application that is part of the NC Systems Product line. It is an application that produces a file for configuring the postprocessor to create output suitable to be used on a NC/CNC machine tool. The file that the Option File Generator produces is called an option file.
In order to launch the Option File Generator, simply click the Configure GPost button on the CimPro window. You can also launch this application via the menu (Utilities / OptFile Gen) or the OptFile Gen button in the toolbar.
If you need to launch the "ProNC/G-Post" version of the Option File Generator, go to the System Settings dialog, click the "Properties" tab, and check the Set OptFile Generator in ProNC/G-Post mode option. Or you can select the ProNC/G-Post selection in the "CAD/CAM Type" combo box in the Setup for G-Post Processing dialog (Note: if you process an APT job between selecting "ProNC/G-Post" and launching the Option File Generator, the Option File Generator will not be launched in ProNC mode, thus to always ensure launching in the ProNC mode, use the menu item check box).
