CUTCOM - PQ Vectors
You should check this box if you require PQ vectors to be output on each CUTCOM block. If PQ vectors are not required to be output on each CUTCOM block, do not check this box
If you always require the P and Q components of the vector to be output on the first compensation block, check this box. If you do not, do not check this box.
Choose the radio button selection that best represents your machine control requirements.
Unit surface - The vector components point to an imaginary surface, one unit away in the direction of compensation.
Unit vector - The vector components represent a unit vector which points in the direction of compensation.
Eight directional preparatory codes - Each preparatory code represents a direction. Checking this box will cause the Directional Prep Codes tab to display, and it is on this panel that you specify the directional prep codes.
P/Q modal switch. Choose the radio button selection that best represents your machine control requirements.

Clicking this button will activate the Register Format Dialog box that will provide the user an opportunity to set the CUTCOM P register format for the mode under which it was activated.
