Description of the FIL file
While using the Option File Generator, the user has the option to create a FIL file via the built in FIL editor. When the user exits or saves the option file they have been creating, the Option File Generator automatically saves any work the user may have done in the FIL file editor. The file naming convention for the FIL file is:
For Lathes: uncl01.fnn
For Mills: uncx01.fnn
Where nn is the number assigned to the option file during the creation process (the number identifies the option file to the postprocessor, and must be between 01 and 99). Note: This latest release allows up to 9999 option/FIL files by allowing for four digits as follows:
For Lathes: uncl01.fnnnn
For Mills: uncx01.fnnnn
The postprocessor will search for a FIL file at execution time and if it finds one with the same numerical extension as the option file selected, it will load the FIL file for processing as well.
