File Open Dialog
For Windows system, there are two options available when selecting a file to open or save. For some Unix systems, it is possible to use the Unix (motif) file dialog. The default option is the File Chooser dialog while the alternate dialog is the standard Windows File Open dialog. These are shown below. To change which version of the dialog is used:
click the System Settings button in the toolbar to open the CimPro - System Settings dialog
click the "Properties" tab
specify the Java file chooser or the Windows file dialog in the File Chooser Type section
File Chooser Dialog (default), tab 1:

The right hand panel (Last 5 Files tab) shows the last 5 files that have been selected in this application. You can select from this list or from the files in the left hand panel as normal. To clear the last 5 files, click the Clear Files button.
Note: the above File Chooser shows the files in multiple columns (new option for PC users only).
File Chooser Dialog, tab 2:

The "Change Filter" tab on the right hand panel of the File Chooser allows you to add a filter (e.g., acl) to the filter list, to remove filters from the list, and set the current filter as the default filter (APT only). For APT processing, the default filter is set in the config.tbl file, but this can be overridden here by selecting the desired filter in the "Files of type" combo box and then clicking the Set Current Filter Default button. Once added, a filter will remain in the application's File Chooser until manually deleted by clicking the Remove Current Filter button (select desired filter in the "Files of type" combo box and then click this button).
