Processing a CL File with a G-Post(
)
To process a CL file using G-Post postprocessors in a stand-alone mode, perform the following steps:
click the G-Post / CAD CL File button on the main CimPro screen. This launches the Setup for GPost Processing dialog (see below)
from this dialog, select the appropriate CAD/CAM type from the CAD/CAM Type combo box
to select the desired file to process, click the Select File... button
from the resulting File Chooser dialog, select the desired source file and click OK
available posts in the current directory and library will be displayed in the Available Posts tree list. Add one or more posts from this list by selecting the desired post(s) and clicking the Add > button. Double-clicking a selection or using the right mouse button to get a popup menu to add selected files is also possible. Posts from the library can also be accessed from this tree list via the "***Library (library directory) ***" folder. Note: this tree list is based on the path of the "File To Process" selected in the step above. The "Library" folder is based on the path specified in the config.tbl.
if applicable, you can add additional posts by clicking the Additional Posts button. This will bring up the Add Additional Posts dialog which allows for the selection of a post from the list (or one can be typed directly into the combo box) and specification of a post number. Then click the OK button
to remove posts from the Selected Posts List, highlight the post and click the < Rmv button or double click the selection
If you want to debug the GPost via the GPost Debugger application, check the GPost "debug" mode check box.
click the dialog's OK button to return to the main CimPro screen (the selected file and post(s) will be displayed in the main CimPro window)
On the main CimPro screen, click the Process G-Post button to begin processing
When processing is complete, click the OK button on the message box.
Note: you can also start the G-Post processing by using the menu (Processing / G-Post Process) or clicking the G-Post button in the tool bar
Note: on the main CimPro screen, it is possible to change the file to be processed without returning to the Define G-Post dialog. Simply click the Browse... button (next to the "Source File" text field on the main CimPro screen)
