GPost Debugging: added a panel in the "File Format" section which allows the user to set a flag indicating that this GPost can be used in the new GPost Debugger appllication.
Added a new panel/tab for 3-5 axis mills to handle 90 degree right angle head attachments.
Due to the addition of several tabs recently, this "functional group" was sub-divided into 3 sub-groups. The first group contains machine type, specifications, and axes tabs. The second group contains Transformations and Output tabs. The third group contains the above mentioned Right Angle Head panel.
Added a new Help feature that allows the user to view help about a specific component on a panel. This help feature can be turned on or off via a button in the toolbar. To find out what a particular item is on a panel without changing the items value (e.g., check box), simply RIGHT click on it. LEFT clicking will also provide help, but will also change the field's values. See the What's This Help section for more information.
The panel size was increased slightly to improve the readability of the data panels.
For Windows based PCs, updated the version of the JRE from 1.3.1 to version 1.4.2. No changes occurred for the UNIX machines due to required operating system updates. The JRE comes packed with CimPro/Option File Generator and is in the "ncjlibs" directory, so you do not need to to anything in activate this.
Moved "Output G0/G1 for RAPID FEDRATE" check box from the "Contouring" section to the "Indexing" section. Updated the text to read "Output G0/G1 for ROTATE".
When the user changes the default settings for the "Secondary to Primary Pivot Distance" fields, then Intcom 2098 will be set to the value of 1.
Changed the working of the "REPOS" option to "Use automatic repositioning...". Also allowed access to the REPOS dialog for 4-Axis and live tooling machines, though, there is limited functionality for 4-Axis machines in this dialog. Also added a check box to the first tab to set retract distance to a select position. This can be specified in the "Utilities / Define FIL Editor" menu option.
The user now has 3 options for the FIL / Text editor. The default option is what was used in version 5.8 (e.g., the editor showing up in the internal frame inside the Option File Generator). The 2 new options allow the user to use the standard Option File Generator Editor in a dialog, or allow the user to use an editor of their choice.
Previously, if the register addresses were set as "non-modal", this applied to GXYZABCF. A new option allows for specifying only XYZABC non-modal.
When the user specifies to include the input statements in the List File, it is not possible to specify certain input statements to skip (i.e., FIL, PPRINT, INSERT, PARTNO).
Added a checkbox for outputting UPM mode in special cases.
If a user changed a Intcom, Relcom, or Dblcom value and then selected another commons, the change made to the previous commons would not be saved unless the user left the Commons panel and returned to it. Added "Save" buttons so that the user can save multiple commons without leaving the panel each time.
In the "Output Types" section, added a check box related to the COOLANT/OFF code.
Added a "Motion Analysis Option for RAPID, GOTO/pt after LOADTL" section
Added a check box to "Slip leading blanks or slashes".
Additional functionality was added to the ARCSLP tab of the Circular Motion function.
