Rewind Stop Character

This field is to contain the character that will be output at the beginning of the machine control data file (usually '=') representing the rewind stop code. See postprocessor command REWIND. Equivalent postprocessor command:

• PLABEL/OPTION,11,TO,61 $$ Decimal ASCII value for = (default)

OPSKIP Character

This option gives the user the opportunity to set the character output as the block delete character (normally /) in the machine control data file. Block delete characters are used to mark blocks of machine control data that can at the machine operator's discretion be skipped. See the postprocessor command: OPSKIP. The actual value stored in the option file will be the ASCII character's decimal value. Equivalent postprocessor command:

• PLABEL/OPTION,12,TO,47 $$ Decimal ASCII value for / (default).

Tab Character

This option gives the user the opportunity to set the character output as the tab character if required by your control (normally *). The actual value stored in the option file will be the ASCII character's decimal value. Equivalent postprocessor command:

• PLABEL/OPTION,13,TO,42 $$ Decimal ASCII value for * (default).

Control-Out Character

This option gives the user the opportunity to set the character output as the control-out character if required by your control (normally (). Some controls require that operator comments be enclosed in control-out/control-in characters. See the postprocessor command DISPLAY. The actual value stored in the option file will be the ASCII character's decimal value. Equivalent postprocessor command:

• PLABEL/OPTION,14,TO,40 $$ Decimal ASCII value for ( (default).

Control-In Character

This option gives the user the opportunity to set the character output as the control-in character if required by your control (normally )). Some controls require that operator comments be enclosed in control-out/control-in characters. See the postprocessor command DISPLAY. The actual value stored in the option file will be the ASCII character's decimal value. Equivalent postprocessor command:

• PLABEL/OPTION,15,TO,41 $$ Decimal ASCII value for ) (default).

Alignment Block

Many controllers allow the use of a special sequence number address to locate restart blocks within a given machine control data file. The postprocessor command SEQNO/NEXT signals the postprocessor that the next output record should contain a sequence number with the address you specify here. Following blocks will revert to the previous sequence number address. Equivalent postprocessor command:

• PLABEL/OPTION,16,TO,79 $$ Decimal ASCII value for O (default).

EOB Character Output

This option gives the user the opportunity to control suppression or inclusion of a EOB (End Of Block) character on each machine control data record. Equivalent postprocessor commands:

• PLABEL/OPTION,17,TO,0 $$ Output EOB character to tape (default).

• PLABEL/OPTION,17,TO,1 $$ Suppress output of EOB character to tape.

Redundant F-Code

This option allows the user to control whether the postprocessor will output redundant feedrate code (F-code) following a rapid move. Some controls require that the feed code be reestablished following rapid motion. Equivalent postprocessor command:

• PLABEL/OPTION,18,TO,0 $$ Output F-CODE after RAPID move (default).

• PLABEL/OPTION,18,TO,1 $$ Suppress F-CODE after RAPID move.

Axis Limits

If you want the postprocessor to issue warnings when the axes limits specified on the Specs tab of the Machine Tool Type panel are violated, check this box. Equivalent postprocessor commands:

• PLABEL/OPTION,19,TO,0 $$ Do not check axis limits (default)

• PLABEL/OPTION,19,TO,1 $$ Check axis limits

Illegal Major Words

Check this box to suppress all major word warnings in the list file; do not check to print the warnings. Example: your CL file includes a SET command for G92 output. Machine 1 has the preset option (G92); Machine 2 does not. The postprocessor issues a warning in the list file for Machine 2, although it does not output G92. Equivalent postprocessor commands:

• PLABEL/OPTION,20,TO,0 $$ Output warning for illegal major words (default).

• PLABEL/OPTION,20,TO,1 $$ Do not output warning for illegal major words.
