Dwell Parameters
If this machine requires a prep code (such as 04) on dwell blocks, enter that code here. If the dwell code goes in a special register (indicating that a prep code is not required), enter NA (not applicable).
This parameter sets the register that will contain the dwell code. Choose "Disable" to suppress the output of a dwell value without suppressing the possible output of a prep code. For example, if G04 initiates a 2-second dwell, select disable.
Machines that are both Inch/Metric and UPM/UPR switchable often have different dwell limitations for each combination. Enter the minimum dwell time (in seconds) allowable in UPM mode.
Machines that are both Inch/Metric and UPM/UPR switchable often have different dwell limitations for each combination. Enter the maximum dwell time (in seconds) allowable in UPM mode.
Some controllers require that dwell be scaled. Enter a value to multiply the calculated dwell by, for UPM mode.
Machines that are both Inch/Metric and UPM/UPR switchable often have different dwell register formats for each combination. Clicking this button will activate the Register Format Dialog box that will provide the user an opportunity to set the dwell register format for UPM mode.

Some turning centers require a dwell to allow the turret index interlock to take effect. If this machine requires that a specific dwell be associated with every turret index, the time required, IN SECONDS, should be entered here. The postprocessor will automatically convert seconds to the correct number of revolutions if required.
Specify the feedrate mode required to be in effect prior to the indexing of the turret. Options are IPM (default), IPR, or Current Feed Mode which specifies the user of the current feed mode setting. This sets Intcom 495 to 73, 74, or -32767 respectively.
