Coolant

Coolant Codes

Coolant Mist

Enter the auxiliary code for COOLNT/MIST. Also see the postprocessor commands for SPINDL and COOLNT.

Coolant flood

Enter the auxiliary code for COOLNT/FLOOD. Also see the postprocessor commands for SPINDL and COOLNT.

Flood (high pres)

Enter the auxiliary code for COOLNT/FLOOD,HIGH. Also see the postprocessor commands for SPINDL and COOLNT.

Flood (low pres)

Enter the auxiliary code for COOLNT/FLOOD,LOW. Also see the postprocessor commands for SPINDL and COOLNT.

Through (high pres)

Enter the auxiliary code for COOLNT/THRU,HIGH. Also see the postprocessor commands for SPINDL and COOLNT.

Through (low pres)

Enter the auxiliary code for COOLNT/THRU,LOW. Also see the postprocessor commands for SPINDL and COOLNT.

Coolant Default

Enter the code (MIST or FLOOD) to be used as the startup default condition for COOLNT/ON. This value is overridden once you use a COOLNT/MIST or COOLNT/FLOOD statement in the part program.

Coolant Off

Enter the default code for COOLNT/OFF.

Coolant/Spindle Combined M-Codes

COOLNT/SPINDL combined M-code

Some controllers require a combined spindle/coolant M-code. This M-code is output by turning the spindle on either clockwise or counter-clockwise. Using the COOLNT/AUTO command, then turning on the spindle would generate a M13 for spindle on clockwise and coolant on or a M14 for spindle on counter-clockwise and coolant on. If your controller requires this combined spindle, coolant M-code check this box.

COOLNT/AUTO,ON

Some controllers require a combined spindle/coolant M-code. This M-code is output by turning the spindle on either clockwise or counter-clockwise. Using the COOLNT/AUTO command, then turning on the spindle would generate a M13 for spindle on clockwise and coolant on or a M14 for spindle on counter-clockwise and coolant on. If you want COOLNT/AUTO to be the default condition for spindle on commands, check this box.

COOLNT/COOLNT CLW

Enter the auxiliary code for SPINDL/----,CLW while COOLNT/AUTO is active. Also see the postprocessor commands for SPINDL and COOLNT.

COOLNT/COOLNT CCLW

Enter the auxiliary code for SPINDL/----,CCLW while COOLNT/AUTO is active. Also see the postprocessor commands for SPINDL and COOLNT.

Output Type

Some machines require the S-code for spindle to be output with the XYZ codes of the motion bloxk. By setting this option, the post will combine the S-code data with XYZ if possible. The available options are:

If the check box pertaining to the COOLANT/OFF code is checked, it generates the M-code for COOLNT/OFF in a block by itself. The other choice is to use the same setting used by COOLNT/ON-MIST-FLOOD etc, which can be set to output with the next motion block.
