Rotary Head
Axis about which the Rotary axis rotates. Specify which linear axis (X, Y, or Z) the Rotary axis rotates around.
Checking this box indicates that the EIA standard for tool motion is adhered to. The EIA standard looks at all motion as if the tool is moving and the work piece is stationary. Check this box if the following is true:
In the XY plane, plus rotation moves the cutter from +X to +Y.
In the ZX plane, plus rotation moves the cutter from +Z to +X.
In the YZ plane, plus rotation moves the cutter from +Y to +Z.

Checking this box indicates that a (0,0,1) tool axis vector positions the rotary axis to zero. Do not check this box if a (0,0,1) tool axis vector will position your rotary axis to 90. Note: This option applies only if your rotary axis rotates around the X axis.

Tool Axis/0,0,1 = 0 (check box)

Tool Axis/0,0,1 = 90 (do not check box)
Pivot point SECONDARY to tool gauge point. Enter the distance from the pivot point of the rotary axis to the tool gauge point of the spindle.
If the secondary rotary axis rotates in an inclined plane (nutator), specify the positive angle of this plane. An example of a machine tool with this capability is the Deckel Maho 200P series machine.
This is only available with the Head/Table configuration. It tells the post what parts of the table the head can reach.
These check boxes allow the user to select which best represents the format used with the machine's rotary axis:
0 and 359.99...+/- indicates direction
angles are to be output between the values of 0 and 359.99 and +/- indicates the direction of rotation.
0 and 359.99...controller takes shortest path
angles are to be output between the values of 0 and 359.999 and the controller takes the shortest path to the specified location.
-n and +n (n=maximum departure of rotary)
angles are to be output between the minimum and maximum departure values of the rotary.
-359.99 and +359.99
angles are to be output between the values of -359.999 and +359.999.
Force the C-axis to be repositioned to zero (C0.0) when a 0,0,1 tool axis vector is executed. Normally the C axis will stay at its current rotation angle for 0,0,1 tool axis vectors.
