Tool Change Coordinates
Enter the X coordinate of your tool change position in the machine coordinate system. If your machine does not require a positioning block with a tool change, check the Do not output tool change positioning block radio button on the General tab of this panel set. If you select Output current X, the postprocessor outputs the current X coordinate.
Enter the Y coordinate of your tool change position in the machine coordinate system. If your machine does not require a positioning block with a tool change, check the Do not output tool change positioning block radio button on the General tab of this panel set. If you select Output current Y, the postprocessor outputs the current Y coordinate.
Enter the Z coordinate of your tool change position in the machine coordinate system. If your machine does not require a positioning block with a tool change, check the Do not output tool change positioning block radio button on the General tab of this panel set. If you select Output current Z, the postprocessor outputs the current Z coordinate.
Enter the A coordinate of your tool change position in the machine coordinate system. If your machine does not require a positioning block with a tool change, check the Do not output tool change positioning block radio button on the General tab of this panel set. If you select Output current A, the postprocessor outputs the current A coordinate.
Enter the B coordinate of your tool change position in the machine coordinate system. If your machine does not require a positioning block with a tool change, check the Do not output tool change positioning block radio button on the General tab of this panel set. If you select Output current B, the postprocessor outputs the current B coordinate.
Enter the C coordinate of your tool change position in the machine coordinate system. If your machine does not require a positioning block with a tool change, check the Do not output tool change positioning block radio button on the General tab of this panel set. If you select Output current C, the postprocessor outputs the current C coordinate.
By default, the GPost uses the tool change location to determine if the RAPID move immediately follows after a tool change is advanced or retracted using the standard motion analysis. Some machines move the tool to a safe position with M06 or G28 codes and the actual tool change location may vary and thus can not be set in the Optfile to a static value. Set this flag, if your machine has this feature to output XY and then a Z-move for the RAPID motion that immediately follows a tool change or LOADTL/cmd.
