ZW Axis
W axis letter address. Enter the letter address you want for your W axis. Most controllers require a W, but some may require a different letter address.
Home position for the W-axis (for postprocessor GOHOME command). You can use this feature to create a home position for your machine. Enter the W coordinate you wish to use.
W-axis offset. The value entered here will adjust the W-axis value at output time. This can be used to align the W-axis reference point with the part reference point.
Also see the postprocessor command MODE/TABLE, ADJUST.
Negative W-axis slide travel limit. If you want axes limit checking, enter the machine coordinate that defines the minimum travel limit value for the W axis. The postprocessor uses the value to verify the current axis position after each move.
Positive W-axis slide travel limit. If you want axes limit checking, enter the machine coordinate that defines the maximum travel limit value for the W axis. The postprocessor uses the value to verify the current axis position after each move.
Checking this box indicates that positive W values will cause the table to advance or move towards the quill.
The value entered here will adjust the Z-axis value at output time. This can be used to align the Z-axis reference point with the part reference point.
