Multi-File Processing(
)
Multi-files (APT, CL) can be processed at one time using the Multi-File
APT or the Multi-File GPost options.
When selecting multi-files to process, the following dialog is used to select multiple APT or CL files,
or a single "que" file which is a text file that contains a list of files to process. This dialog
is launched directly upon clicking the Multi-File APT
toolbar button on the main CimPro screen. Upon selecting the Multi-File G-Post
toolbar button on the main CimPro screen, the Setup
for GPost Processing dialog will be launched, but when the Select
Files... button on that dialog is selected, this multi-file selection dialog
will be launched instead of the basic file chooser dialog. NOTE:
as of version 6.0, multi-file processing can only be accomplished via the button (
) in the CimPro toolbar.

To navigate this dialog, simply:
specify the desired directory in the File System list at the top of the dialog
specify the desired file type by selecting the desired filter in the Filter By combo box
to add files for processing, highlight a file(s) in the Files in Directory list box on the left and click the Add > button. The selected files will show up in the Selected Files list on the right of the dialog (note: clicking the Add All > button will move all files shown in the left list box to the right list)
to remove a file from the Selected Files list, simply highlight the file(s) and click the < Rmv button
click the OK button
The selected files will be placed in a "que" file. The default que file name is "queFile". This file will be written to the directory specified in step #1 above. This "que" file will contain a list of APT or CL files to be processed. To specify a specific name for the "que" file, enter the name in the Name of que File text field. This file will be saved for later use.
If several "que" files have previously been created, it is possible to filter the file list by selecting the "Select by 'que' file" option in the File Type group box. This makes it possible to view only the "que" files in the directory. Only one "que" file can be selected per processing run.
