Option File Generator/Postprocessor Components
The Option File Generator/Postprocessor package includes the following files and documents:
The Camsys and ncjlibs directories contain the OptFile.exe executable, all the necessary Java class files, and additional items such as dynamic link libraries and graphic images.
Two text files, IndentRules_FIL.txt and Keywords_FIL.txt, which are used by the FIL editor of the Option File Generator. These define the FIL language indentation rules and keywords respectively.
The option file initialization files (UNCL01.INF and UNCX01.INF). These files contain the default settings of all the internal variables of the postprocessor itself. When the Option File Generator is started, it uses this 'template' to determine which of the variables are required to be written when you save the option file you create for your postprocessor.
The option file templates (uncx01.Dxx and uncl01.Dxx where xx is a value 0 to 10). These files are preconfigured machines that the user may use as is or use as a starting point for creating his own postprocessor. The D00 versions are special in that they represent the default settings for the Option File Generator when no other preconfigured template is chosen.
And finally, the postprocessors themselves (Optl01.exe - lathe and Optx01.exe - mill). These applications are the work horses that when invoked read the option file specified by the user to produce machine control data for a specific machine tool.
