Primary Turret

This selection will indicate to the postprocessor which turret on your machine will be treated as the primary turret. On machine tools with position register preset functions, this option has less influence on the output produced. A more obvious circumstance would be a machine that operates in absolute mode only. In this case all dimension codes would be output relative to the "primary" turret and offset to the "secondary" turret.
