Viewing the Files

General

CimPro allows for easy viewing of source files (input files such as an APT or CL files) and output files (LST or Punch files). In order to view these files, perform the following steps:

1. click one of the four view file buttons (View Lst File, View Punch File, View Source File, View ACL File)

2. if multiple Punch files exist, a file chooser dialog will appear and request that you select the desired punch file. If no punch files are present, a message box will indicate that and provides a Browse... button to search for a file

CimPro will display the text file in the specified editor (e.g., WordPad, vi, etc. -- See the Text Editor help section for help in specifying an editor)

These files can also be viewed by selecting the appropriate menu item (View / List, View / Punch, View / Source, View/ACL) or by clicking the appropriate button in the toolbar ( for List, for Punch, for Source, for ACL).

Auto Launch of Output Files

To automatically launch the LST and/or Punch files immediately after processing the APT or CL file, do the following:

1. click on the View menu

2. select the desired check box menu item (LST file or Punch file)

3. when a file has been processed, the specified file(s) will be automatically launched
